In the context of multilingualism, which characterises NACE schools, the learning of English as the first foreign language plays a very important role. Students are introduced to English from the very beginning of their education; they even learn to read and write in English at the same time as they learn to read and write in the other official languages of the School. Although there is a great linguistic difference between English and Catalan or Spanish this does not in any way hinder their learning, rather it enhances and stimulates the learning.
Students, later on in their education in Secondary, have the opportunity to learn a second foreign language - French or German. In Àgora Patufet, our students also have the chance to learn Mandarin Chinese in their final year of the Infant School and in the first years of Primary when they go to Àgora Sant Cugat.
